California Driver’s License or ID Card (21 years and older)
If use a “Federal Limits Apply” CA DL or ID card, need one of following documents:
- Valid, unexpired U.S. passport or passport card
- Certified copy of U.S. Birth Certificate
- Valid, unexpired foreign passport with valid I-94
- Certificate of Naturalization of U.S. Citizenship
- Valid, unexpired Permanent Resident Card
If name on above document differs from“Federal Limits Apply” CA DL or ID card
- An adoption document
- A name change document
- A marriage certificate
- A dissolution of marriage
- A certificate of domestic partnership
- A dissolution of domestic partnership
Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC)
- $26 test fee, take twice test. If fail, retake after 24 hours
- $5 for replacement through the instructor who issued
Additional Proof of Residency (Handgun purchase, by delivery of firearms)
- Utility bill within the past 3 months
Water, power, gas, cable, trash (NO cell, bank, paystub, tax, insurance)
- Property Deed or fully executed Resident Lease Agreement
- DMV registration
- CCW permit / 03 FFL / Hunting or Fishing License
Green Card or foreign passport + I-94
Hunting License (Non-immigrant Visa)
It depends, but usually we do
- All sales of the below are FINAL:
- Once the transfer is completed, all firearms are considered final sale
- Items ordered specifically for you, are not eligible for return or exchange
- Products that have been installed, used, or modified after receipt are non-returnable
- Any products sold as pre-owned or "as is" are final sale and non-returnable
- National Firearms Act (NFA) regulated items are final sale and cannot be returned
- DROS and dealer fee are NON-REFUNDABLE, buyer will be responsible for RE-DROS fee if the initial one expired
- A RESTOCKING FEE of 20% of firearm price applies to all return due to failure of California mandated background check
- We're required by law to SURRENDER all firearms to Law Enforcement Agency, if PPT's seller and buyer are both prohibited persons
- Firearms are subject to the manufacturer's warranty. These warranties are handled directly by the manufacturer and are not covered under any warranty, expressed or implied, by California Guns and Ammo or its parent company
- If your firearm requires repair or replacement under the warranty, please contact the manufacturer directly for assistance. We recommend keeping your purchase documentation and warranty information for reference
